SPACE OF EMBRACE
Space of Embrace is the featured world premiere film in the Watershed Dance on Film line-up. Watershed Dance Theatre and filmmaker, Akhil Deva, bring the exhibits of Whitespace Gallery to life through film, dance and fantasy. Rich in imagination, this film will take you on a journey with a cast of characters from the discontent Southern Woman to the Bower Bird looking for love. Featuring visual artists: Rachel K. TRINITY
In response to the current movement for justice and equality for the communities of black and brown people in America, artistic director, Sarah Emery experiments with iphone filmmaking in collaboration with dancer, Trinity Cox. The short film honors Trinity as an artist and individual who contributes her gift to the dance world and black community with strength and beauty.
